  • GFX hosted a Stem Cell Seminar!

    GFX recently hosted a Stem Cell Seminar with the Cellular Renewal Clinic based out of Tijuana. The entire presentation was mind blowing to say the least! SO much information and education was digested on Saturday. Cellular Renewal Clinic came for Tijuana and did not disappoint. These doctors are worldly and have practiced medicine in several different countries. Brilliant is not even close to describe the knowledge these doctors have on stem, cells, disease, and the body alone. We are going to be hosting a group of members on a trip down so stay on the look out for any announcements about that. Space will be limited, so we will be taking a bus down with a medical pass at the border, so we just go right through! Please visit their website, follow them on social media, and reach out with any questions. The entire team at Cellular Renewal Clinic are kind and knowledgeable. We are so excited for what benefits this will offer our members and family members. Kimberly is headed down to the clinic with Claudia on the 27th, so she will be back with information, and she will be getting a few different procedures done. Check back with out girl soon for the details on her visit.

    For the next week or so GFX is rewarding members for referring a friend! The member with the most friends that sign up for a package or membership is the winner. Working out with friends is always more fun, why not win a free facial and dinner on us while you’re at it?! Solana Skin Care Studio and SB Kitchen both donated prizes for 1st and 2nd place.
    We have a few fun events coming up so don’t forget to check our social media and website for fun additions and announcements. We cannot wait for to meet some new faces and continue to create the infectious community here at GFX!

    We cannot wait to throw our next party. They are always a huge success! Kimberly felt the love and our members had a blast working out, drinking, eating and celebrating. Special thanks to Carruth Winery and Crust Pizza here in Solana Beach for donating the pizza and wine.

    Our next party is in the books! Mark your calendar FRIDAY MARCH 24th at 4:30pm and 5:30pm! Workout, drink, and eat with us to celebrate Kimberly! She is our head trainer, manager, Scott’s right hand…and favorite girl! This girl pours her whole heart and soul into this community at GFX! Let’s show Kimberly some love and come celebrate!

    GFX knows how to throw a party. It was a fun time to say the least! The energy in the room was incredible and everyone kept repeating one phrase…”the community here is amazing.” That is exactly what we want at GFX, we want a community of supportive, positive, driven, encouraging, genuine, fun people! There is no judgment here, just love. Scott and Kimberly have repeated that word over and over It is why we came up with the name GFX…. where fitness and community meet…at the X! The energy and the vibes at our parties are unlike any other in San Diego, we promise. It was beyond fun, and we cannot wait to throw another one. We will be announcing the next party soon…it will be a happy hour this time with a workout at 4:30+5:30pm.

    It is a mix of our Tabata strength training with boxing and Pilates. This class brings the heat and fun. Tara has an extensive background in both boxing and Pilates, she knows her stuff and has a heart of gold. Do not let the sweet French accent fool you though, she is one tough cookie and will push you to meet your goals. Tara also teaches Saturdays at 10:00AM and subs on the schedule regularly as well. Watch for her name and make sure to sign up for her FLEX X BOX class.

    This BOOZY BOOTY BURNER was a total blast! We want to thank our local friends for their generous donations, Local Roots, Choice Juicery, Ethos, Whole Foods, and our member and friend Oscar Fajardo. We danced (a lot), dressed up, worked out, drank, shopped, laughed (a lot), met new friends, and had overall a genuine fun time! We highly recommend you check out our social media @gfxfit to see more media footage and photos. The community we are building at GFX is unlike anything in San Diego, period.   • Meet Tara Maunder!

    Tara started her fitness journey teaching Piloxing. A combination of boxing, standing Pilates and dance that led to teaching Piloxing barre. When she moved to San Diego with her husband and two kids, she started a small community mom outdoor bootcamp in her neighborhood here in Solana Beach. In addition, she has trained in different boxing styles, that she incorporates in her workouts. Tara loves going to the beach with family, loves taking strolls with her dog taking the kids to school, and frequently visits the local French spots. She has a zest for life that is as enticing as her French accent! She brings the heat and does not disappoint with her workouts, her favorite thing about GXF is the community. Moving to a new place is always hard and having like minded welcoming warm people makes the world of a difference. We are so excited to have Tara be a part of out team at GFX!

    Our members had a fun time, we worked up a sweat, we ate pizza drank Ashland’s and danced to the DJ. We will have more parties soon so look out for announcements in our newsletters and o our Instagram. We have some great videos from the arty posted on our social media @gfxfit! We will be announcing the next party soon, it will be the end of next month around the spooky holiday! Going to be so much fun! You are not going to want to miss out again! We had such a good turn out and our members are our favorite people so we wanted to offer their friends and family and ANY NEW MEMBERS an unlimited two weeks for $89! Mind blown, I know!
